Its December, its dull, grey and pouring down, and it’s a little bit miserable . Need something fun to look forward to in 2016?

Please consider including a batty activity  in your events programme next year.  International Bat night is  27-28th August and it’s a great time to join bat fans worldwide in a Chiropteran celebration!  Leading a bat walk is the perfect way to brighten up your night life and bring fun, joy and novel experiences to your audiences (When else is making rude raspberry impersonations perfectly legitimate?).

If you are planning a public walk/ talk or any batty activity please consider adding details to the Bat Conservation trust Events pages and the Eurobats site. (Thanks everyone who did this in 2015, the response was brilliant). You can order free posters from the Eurobats site and get stickers from Anne Youngman. If you’d like to lead a walk but don’t feel confident about it contact Anne Youngman, (Email:  This email address is being protected from spambots.
