The Scottish Countryside Rangers Association (SCRA) is the professional membership association for Countryside Rangers and associated countryside professionals in Scotland

Formed in 1974, SCRA has an enviable reputation for supporting the development and enhancement of the Ranger profession in Scotland; organising networking events, training events and conferences, supporting the development of a national logo and brand for Scotland's Ranger Services and working with Government and Government agencies to promote the profession.

Rangers promote the enjoyment, understanding and care of Scotland's outdoors through;

  • The first hand provision of information, advice and activities
  • Interpretation
  • The management of sites and facilities
  • Seeking to secure responsible behaviour

Monday 10th to Wednesday 12th October - Comrie Croft, Perthshire - ‘Working with the Health Agenda’

The conference will consist of talks and workshops to explore how Scotland’s Rangers can continue to engage with health professionals and others in the promotion of access to the outdoor environment, as a means of improving the physical and mental wellbeing of the people of Scotland.

Contributors include: SNH, Paths for All, NHS and fellow Countryside Rangers. .

Plus the Rendezvous Dinner at The Famous Grouse Experience, with guest speaker; the opportunity to network with fellow Rangers and other countryside professionals; a market place where you can promote your organisation and the Ranger Rendezvous Quiz with fabulous prizes!

  • Non Members £130
  • This includes the Monday night dinner, accommodation and all meals
