You must be a member of SCRA – (find out how to join). On the Members Only part of the website you will find details of the programme and a registration form. Current members should log in to access this part of the site.

Like all CPD programmes, there are many costs involved in development, promotion, administration, support for candidates and assessors, and the verification and Award processes. Monitoring and regular reviews ensure the programme is relevant and current.

The cost is £400 per candidate, a fee that is lower than many comparable schemes, thanks to the generous support SCRA has received towards development costs.

Payment options are available:

Option 1: Full payment on registration, with no time limit on access to the SCRA help service and submission of portfolio for verification.

Option 2: Initial payment of £200 on registration followed by a further payment of £200 at verification stage or after 2 years, whichever is the earlier.

Option 3: Initial payment of £55 followed by £15/month for 23 months paid by standing order.

(Standing orders can only be set up and cancelled again by you. It will be your responsibility to ensure payments continue for the correct period of time.)

Foundation Level

For those who are relatively new to Rangering, or who may be in a seasonal position or apprenticeship, we offer the award at Foundation level only. This allows you to complete approximately half of the award for a reduced cost of £200 per candidate.

Option 1: Full payment on registration, with no time limit on access to the SCRA help service and submission of portfolio for verification.

Option 2: £100 on registration followed by a further £100 at verification or after 1 year, whichever is earlier for the foundation level only.

Option 3: An initial payment of £35 followed by £15/month for 11 months paid by standing order.

Please note: fees do not cover the cost of SCRA membership, which will need to be renewed annually.
